Mary Ann Haines, 78, of Arcadia died on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Grandview Care Center in Blair under the care of St. Croix Hospice.
Mary Ann was born in Arcadia on September 29, 1943 to Theodore "Ted" and Arvilla (Ammann) Pierzina. After graduating from high school, Mary Ann worked for Western Finance prior to her employment with Arcadia Industries. She eventually obtained a realtor's license and worked with Arcadia Realty and Hometown Realty. She enjoyed working auctions for both companies and would travel to various places to help with sales. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Thomas Haines on July 28, 1962, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Arcadia. Together the couple enjoyed attending sporting events, trips to the casino, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Mary Ann was a member of Holy Family Parish and the PCCW.
Mary Ann is survived by her son: William "Bill" of Arcadia; daughter Sandy (Bruce) Baecker of Independence; grandchildren: Aaron and Daric Haines, Marissa (Bryce) Pechak, McKenzie, Mariah, Mason (Meghan Wenger) Baecker; great-granddaughter: Charli Pechak; brother: Ted (Delane) Pierzina of Onalaska; sister: Dianne Thomas of Arcadia; brothers-in-law: LaVerne (Nancy) Haines of Arcadia, LeRoy (Agnes) Haines of Arcadia; Darrell "Jack" (Ann) Haines of Arcadia and Edward (Denise) Haines of Holmen; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Tom; in-laws: Werner and Eleanor Haines; brothers-in-law: Harry Haines and Richard Thomas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately at a later date. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia. Wozney-Killian Funeral Home is assisting her family with arrangements.
