Marcella "Sally" Mary Deck, 89, of Arcadia, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019, under the care of the endearing staff of Marinuka Manor in Galesville with her family by her side.

Sally was born on January 10, 1930, to Frank and Helen (Sonsalla) Schock. The couple lived in Waumandee and raised 9 children. Sally was employed with Ashley Furniture Industries and found enjoyment in numerous activities when she was not at work. Sally loved to cook. At holidays, you were guaranteed to enjoy her family favorite gizzard stuffing. You could always count on chicken with all the fixins on Sunday noon for dinner (aka lunch). She was creative and demonstrated that in the clothes and quilts she made. Sally loved playing cards with her family and friends; playing sheepshead in her earlier years, teaching grand children how to play 500, playing Phase 10 and Skip Bo on sisters+mom annual weekends, and finally Polish Poker at family gatherings. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and taking trips to the casinos. Most of all, Sally loved getting together with her family, spending time with them was of the utmost importance. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren always seem to brighten up her day. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, the PCCW, the Woman's American Legion Auxiliary of Arcadia, and the VFW in Cochrane. Sally enjoyed volunteering with various activities at church and attending the Holy Family Festivals. Her generosity, love, and dedication she showed to her family and friends; as well as her feisty and competitive spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Sally is survived by her 9 children: Jerry (Bev) of Waumandee; Mary Symitczek of Arcadia, Sue McNish of Winona, Judy (Bill) Hanson of Pine Creek, Karen Deck of Ettrick, Joe Deck of Alma, Joan (Steve) Korpal and Jane (Jeff) Everson, both of Arcadia, and Laurie (Jack) Williams of Rochester, MN; 22 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters-in-law: Colleen Deck of Onalaska and Antionette Schock of Arcadia; and numerous other friends and relatives.
