Born to Ken and Loretta (Olson) Hjornevik at Black River Memorial Hospital on July 12, 1963, raised in Taylor, WI, Lorrie was the eldest of five. Among many things, Lorrie had a passion for horses, cheerleading, friends and caring for others. She met Kevin Beaman while bartending at the P-nut Gallery. In 1985, they decided to marry not knowing the legacy they would build. Together they had three children Isaac ('85), Heaven ('87) and Angel ('89). They both spent the rest of their working careers at Agsource (DHI) until they retired to their little castle on the hill. Lorrie was reunited with her mother and son on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the age of 59.
Lorrie was survived by her father: Ken (Jeanne Buhr) Hjornevik; husband: Kevin Beaman; daughters: Heaven (Scott Larson) Beaman and Angel Beaman; grandchildren Nick, Savannah, Olivia, Ciara, Aubrey, Davis, Quest, and Delanie Beaman; siblings: Jill (Roy) LaBar, Daryl (Tricia Ronning) Hjornevik, Randy (Becky Newhouse) Hjornevik, and Nils Hjornevik; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, adopted grandchildren and many friends.
Lorrie was preceded in death by her mother Loretta Hjornevik; son and baby boy: Isaac Beaman; maternal grandparents, several uncles and many other friends and family.
She will be as rich with friends in heaven as she was on earth. She truly cared for people and spent her life making sure others were taken care of, even before herself at times. She was known for being the "mom of Taylor", no kid or anyone was ever turned away or left hungry, she was a selfless woman, her life was proof of that.
"In Peace may you leave this shore
In love may you find the next
Safe passage on your travels
until our final journey to the ground
MAY WE MEET AGAIN"
