Kathryn "Kay" Mary Doelle, 72, of Fountain City, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at her home in rural Fountain City under the care of Winona Hospice.

Kay was born in Winona, MN on November 28, 1947, to Matt and Sarah (Rippley) Pronschinske. Her family moved to a farm in Waumandee, WI, and Kay attended St. Boniface Catholic School. She graduated from Arcadia High School, and went on to attend UW-Eau Claire, where she received a Comprehensive Major in Business Education. Kay married Gary Doelle at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on September 20, 1969. Together they bought a farm, lock, stock and barrel, in the Town of Glencoe. Kay farmed along side her husband until his sudden death in August of 2015. She continued to farm with her children. In her spare time, she enjoyed dirt track racing and was a charter member of Valley Raceways beginning in 1965.

Kay is survived by her children: John of Arcadia, and Jan (Jim Winsand) of Holmen; brothers: Mark Pronschinske of Arcadia and Carl (Kathy) Pronley of Brookfield; sister: Jane Sendelbach of Arcadia; and in-laws: Hal Tritz of Cockeysville, MD, and Bea Pronley of Brookfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings: Ed Pronley, Ruth Tritz, and Maxine Sendelbach; and in-laws: Lloyd Sendelbach, Tony Sendelbach, and Shirley Pronschinske.

Private services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Glencoe Town Hall on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at 1:30 PM. To express condolences to her family online, please visit www.wozneykillianfh.com.
