Rosemary Weltzien

Rosemary "Punky" Terese Weltzien, 79, of Arcadia died on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at her home. She was born on August 25, 1938, in Arcadia to William and Hedwig (Benning) Thomas. She married Ronald J. Weltzien on Feb. 14, 1956, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Arcadia.
Rosemary and her husband farmed in rural Arcadia for many years. She was a registered nurse and worked at Winona Health and other area nursing homes.
Rosemary is survived by her children: Ronda Lettner of Galesville, Rita (Michael) Edmunds of Galesville, Robb (Susan) of Arcadia, Ray of Galesville, Ron (Karen) of Galesville, Rick (Beth) of Galesville; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Ronald Weltzien; sister: Donna Walsky; and a grandson: Lee Michael Weltzien.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at St. Bartholemew Catholic Church in Trempealeau, at 11:00 AM, with the Father Antony Joseph officiating. Friends may call on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, where there will be a 7:00 PM prayer service. Friends may also call on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
