Roger Dean Smith, 76, of Trempealeau died at his home on Thursday, October 4, 2012.
He was born on December 5, 1935, in Howard Co. Iowa to Edwin and Myrtle (DeGreve) Smith. He married Sherrill Becker on May 22, 1955, in Cresco, Iowa.
Roger farmed in the Twp. of Dodge, he enjoyed woodworking, horses and traveling out west.
Roger is survived by his wife, Sherrill of Trempealeau, 4 sons; Steve (Cindy) Smith of Trempealeau, Kevin (Mary) Smith of Maybelle, CO, Tim (Debra) Smith of Arcadia, Patrick (Kimberly) Doss-Smith of Minneapolis, MN, one daughter; Wendy (Scott) Sullivan of Colorado Springs, CO, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Michael in 1988, and Edwin in infancy in 1962, his parents and a brother, Eugene.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012, at 7:30 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Jonas officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery near Centerville, WI.
