Patricia Killian

Patricia Ann Killian, 84, of Winona, died peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born on March 20, 1940, to Adam Sr. and Alvina (Justin) Reuter. She attended St. Boniface School in Waumandee, WI, and graduated from Arcadia High School. She married Donald P. Killian on July 11, 1959. Together they raised five children, first living in Milwaukee, WI, then Independence, WI and later began farming in Danuser Valley. They farmed for many years, including in Waumandee, WI before retiring to Chetek, WI.

Pat was an accomplished pianist and shared her love of music with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader with an impressive library of books on nutrition and cooking. She rarely missed a Packer game and loved family competitions picking the weekly winners in the football schedule.

Her legacy is the family she created and nurtured. She is survived by her children, Dean Killian, Brian Killian, Denise (Ronald) Janicek, Renee (Scott) Thelen, and Linda (Robert) Baures; grandchildren, Casey (Courtney) Killian, Katie Killian, Abbey (Sam) Elling, Caleb Killian, Sydney (Parker) Leonard, Christopher Janicek, Raquel (Joey) Scanlan, Ryan (Jordan) Thelen, and Donny Baures; great-grandchildren, Peyton, William, CJ, Caden, Rilea, Saylor, Bowie, Sage, and Mackinnon; and one sister, Dolores Benusa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents; sister, Marion Yoakam; and brothers, Adam Reuter Jr., Cletus Reuter, and Robert Reuter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 24 at St. Boniface Parish in Waumandee, WI, with Father Aruldoss officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Patricia will be laid to rest in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, next to her beloved husband Don.
