Marian C. Klimek, age 84, of Blair, and formerly of Arcadia, died Monday August 7, 2017, at Grandview Care Center in Blair, WI.
Marian C. Klimek was born September 28, 1932, in Arcadia, WI to Stanley and Josephine (Kujak) Klimek. She graduated from St. Stanislaus School in Arcadia and continued her education and graduated from St. Catherine School of Nursing in 1957 and St. Cloud School of Anesthesiology in 1959. Marian worked as an anesthesiologist in Shokopee, MN, Wausau, WI, Eau Claire, WI, and Whitehall, WI. She retired from Tri County Memorial Hospital in Whitehall, WI in 1997 after working there for 25 years.
Marian's hobbies included bowling, furniture upholstery, coin collecting and traveling.
She is survived by a sister Loretta Kuka, and a brother Frank (Marie) Klimek, all of Arcadia, WI. She is further survived by nieces and nephews; Bev (Norm) Hoch, Dave (Rita) Kuka, Duane (Sandy) Kuka, Betty (Al) Baker, Michael (Marie) Schneider, Steve Schneider and Matthew (Theresa) Klimek. She had two special God Children Paul (Michelle) Hoch and Matthew (Theresa) Klimek.
She was preceded in death by parents Stanley and Josephine Klimek, a brother-in-law Marcus Kuka, a great niece Gwen Hoch, and a great nephew Seth Kuka.
Friends may call from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM Saturday August 12, 2017, at Holy Family Parish in Arcadia, WI mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 AM Rev. Woodrow Pace will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus cemetery.
