LeAnn Hagen

LeAnn Grace Hagen, 75, of Arcadia and formerly of Odessa, MN, passed on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at her home.

LeAnn was born in Milbank, SD on December 7, 1949. She grew up in the Corona & Milbank area until her freshman year when she moved to Summit, SD graduating in 1968 from Summit High School.

She moved to Watertown, SD after graduation and attended WBU for accounting before moving to the Twin Cities and working for several years. While in the Twin Cities she met her husband Willard Robert Hagen and moved backed to Milbank, SD. Shortly afterward they moved to Odessa, MN where her and Willard raised their seven kids. After raising her kids she moved to Arcadia, WI in 2008 until her passing. LeAnn enjoyed gardening, canning good food for her family, sewing, crocheting, traveling and collecting owls. She loved spending time with family and friends over the holidays and camping in the summer.

She was grateful for God's gift of family including her kids: Jodi Tedrow (Dan) of Aberdeen, SD, Troy Hagen of Austin, MN, Amber Hagen of Sioux Falls, SD, Brandi Wheeler of Harrisburg SD, Georgette (Ricky) Ratigan of Frankfort, SD, Ryan Hagen of Watertown, SD; 15 grandchildren: Zachary Lowe, Cody Seezs, Venessa Payne, April Barts, Micheal Schafer, Talon Schafer, Summer Adler, Jevin Schafer, Heidi Hagen, Geneva Talcott, Austin Hagen, Zetta Wheeler, Justin Ratigan, Jerica Ratigan, and Jessie Ratigan; 3 great-grandchildren: Willow Wilson, Mackenzie Bards, Vance Jr. Pryne; sister: Leone Poel of Roseville, MN; brothers: Norman Poel and Ado (Marsha) Poel all of Minnesota; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Alisa Hagen; son-in-law: Michael Wheeler; parents: Hank & Martha Poel; brothers: David Poel and Eldean Poel; nephew: Kim Poel; and great-grand son: Michael Pryne.
