Kenneth Timm

March 6, 1950 — December 29, 2025

Ken Timm, age 75, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, at the American Lutheran Home in Mondovi, Wisconsin. He was born on March 6, 1950, in Wabasha, MN, to the late Evelyn Mae (Bloom) and Arnold Willes Timm, Sr. He lived in the Mondovi area most of his life and enjoyed high school athletics including wrestling, football, and track and field. Upon graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps. Ken married Deborah Bauer, (Timm), (Miller) on October 16, 1971. From this union, six children were born: Angela, Jessica, Michael, Sarah, Bridget, and Andrew. Ken and Deborah later divorced.

Throughout his life, Ken had many jobs including farming, feedmill worker, construction worker, custodian, school bus driver and supervisor, Trempealeau County Deputy, security guard, and over the road truck driver. Ken’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, horseshoes, dart ball, watching westerns (especially with John Wayne), cartoons, and the Green Bay Packers. He talked to everyone and loved visiting; everyone seemed to know him! Ken volunteered as a 4-H Leader for 25 years and was on the Cenex Equity Livestock Board. Ken loved children, dogs, music, singing, dancing, and playing cards. A special thank you goes out to the staff at the American Lutheran Nursing in Mondovi for the love and care they provided over the years during Ken’s time there.

Survivors include his children: Angela (Jim) Gulrud of Pardeeville, Jessica (Joy) Christenson of Hudson, Michael (Erica) Timm of Eleva, Sarah (Ryan) McIntosh of Burnsville, MN, Bridget (Jake) Rummel of Crawfordville, FL, Andrew Timm of Burnsville, MN; nine grandchildren: Ethan Maug, Katelyn Gulrud, Sydney Gulrud, Ellia Christenson, Adi Christenson, Annie Timm, Fiona McIntosh, Stuart McIntosh, and Meredith McIntosh; brother Neil Timm of Eau Claire, and sisters: Gail Iverson of Mahtomedi, MN, Janet Timm of Apple Valley, MN, Sandy (Richard) Johnson of Kimberling City, MO, and Renee Timm of Denver, Colorado.
