Julie Rose (Urbick) Reynolds-Kooiman, 46, of Riviera Beach, FL and formerly of Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
Julie was born on October 21, 1976, in Oshkosh, WI to Larry and Janet (Watson) Urbick. Growing up, Julie was always a loving, laughing and talented child, daughter and sister. She was musically talented, playing various instruments in her school’s marching band and orchestra. After having children, she found she enjoyed kayaking, decorating beautiful cakes and collecting anything and everything relating to dolphins. She was united in marriage to Eddie Kooiman in Florida in September of 2022. Julie loved Florida, especially life on the beach, but kept a fondness of the Midwest because of her family and special memories. She loved watching cardinals and always said they reminded her of her dad, Larry. Her fullness of life will always be remembered and cherished by her loved ones.
Julie is survived by her husband: Louie “Eddie” Kooiman of Riviera Beach, FL; mother: Janet of Marshfield; 5 children: Chris (Bri) Counard of Vernal, UT, Kiara (Steven) Zeinert of Beaver Dam, Cody Counard of Madison, Kai Counard of Columbus, and Cadin Counard of Beaver Dam; sister: Vicki (Chuck) Thom of Stoughton; nephew: Zaiden Lalley of Stoughton; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents: Lambert and Clarice Urbick and Thurman and Ruth Watson.
