Jared Scow, 31, of Independence, WI, passed away on October 12, 2026.
Jared was born on January 8, 1995, in Arcadia, WI, to Michael and Suzanne (Herold) Scow. He grew up in Independence, attended Independence Public School, and later earned his CDL.
Jared was caring, funny, and quiet, with a gentle presence and a sense of humor that brought warmth to those who knew him best. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and playing video games. He also had a deep love for cars and trucks. Above all, being an uncle held a special place in his heart, and the love he shared with his nieces and great-nephew was a treasured part of his life.
In his final act of kindness, Jared gave the gift of life to others through the donation of his heart, kidneys, and liver. His generosity will live on through those who received these precious gifts, carrying forward the caring spirit that was such an important part of him.
Jared is lovingly remembered by his parents, Michael and Suzanne (Herold) Scow; sister, Jill Scow; four nieces, Nevaeh, Ziyannah, Makiyah, and Auvionah; great-nephew, Kior; other loved ones; and his friends. He will be remembered for the quiet kindness, humor, and love he brought into their lives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, along with three aunts.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26 at Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia, followed by a service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor David Johnson officiating.
Jared will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever part of the stories his loved ones tell. His life, his love for family, and his final gift to others will remain a lasting part of his memory.
