Eunice Rose Haines, 92, of Winona and formerly of Arcadia, WI died Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN.
Eunice was born on June 12, 1925, to Edward and Claire (Reuter) Sendelbach in Waumandee, WI. She attended St. Boniface Catholic School in Waumandee and graduated from Arcadia High School. She attended one year at St. Teresa College in Winona, MN. Eunice was united in marriage to Ralph Christian Haines on March 21, 1945, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waumandee. Together they raised four children; Richard, Corrine, Lisa, and Lynne. Ralph preceded her in death on December 30, 2014. Eunice was a member at Holy Family Parish in Arcadia and the PCCW. Eunice enjoyed playing golf and bridge, cooking, sewing, volunteering with St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary in Arcadia, traveling with Ralph to his WWII Bomb Group Reunions and spending time with her family.
Eunice is survived by her son, Richard (Loretta) Haines of Wichita, KS; daughters, Lisa (Larry) Sonsalla of Trempealeau, WI, and Lynne (Joseph) Emert of Fairchild, WI; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Magdalen (Joseph) Jameson of Mesa, AZ; and son-in-law, Terry Otzelberger of Green Bay, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; daughter, Corrine Otzelberger in 2006; and brothers, Edward Sendelbach in 2017 and William Sendelbach in 1993.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Holy Family Parish in Arcadia with Father Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating. Family and friends are welcome for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Arcadia.
