Dorothy A. Moga, 90, of Arcadia died on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at her home. Dorothy was born on September 17, 1923, in Arcadia to Joseph and Pauline (Sobotta) Thomas. She married Gabriel Moga on May 15, 1945, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Arcadia.
Dorothy was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Pine Creek and the PCCW. She enjoyed gambling, going for rides in the country, loved to cook and bake, and spending time with the family and her sisters and brothers. Dorothy worked in the dietary department at St. Joseph's Hospital and farmed with her husband, Gabriel.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gabriel Moga of Arcadia, 5 sons: Richard Moga of Dodge, Ronald (Pat) Moga of Arcadia, Dennis (Althea) Moga of Dodge, Greg ( friend, Mischelle Abts) Moga of Arcadia, Pat (Lynn) Moga of Winona; grandchildren: Brenda (Emery) Childress, Mark (Kelly) Moga, Molly (Tim) Schultz , Marsha (friend, Doug Schwoch) Moga , Kyle Moga, Nickolas Moga, and Hana Moga; great grandchildren: Steven (Michelle) Moga, Raymond and Ryan Connelly, Chandler and Carson Schultz, Jalil Dillard; step grandchildren: Emery and Chad Childress; sisters: Margaret Lince of Pine Creek and Elllie Shada of Kenosha; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Delores Thomas, Dorothy Rothering, Irene Hermann, JoAnn (Tom) Kramer, Frank Moga, Ralph Moga, and Jim Moga. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Susan Moga; grandchildren: Michael and Rachel; great grandchild, Paul; brothers, sisters-in-law, sisters, and brothers-in-law: Ed (Vangie) Thomas, Henry (Helen) Thomas, Clarence (Martina) Thomas, Ernie, Tony, and Marcel Thomas, Bernice (Herman) Miller, Irene (Paulie) Sonsalla, Esther (Ralph) Werlein, Dick Lince, Ed Shada, Marcel Rothering, Gerald Hermann, Rose Moga, Lorriane Moga, and Esther Moga.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Sacred Heart Parish in Pine Creek, WI, with Father Sebastian Kolodziejczyk, at 11:30 AM. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sacred Heart Parish where there will be a 7:30 rosary. They may also call on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
