Clotilda A. Haines, 95, of Arcadia, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, surrounded by her dedicated caregivers and loving family.
Clotilda was born on September 12, 1917, to Paul and Catherine (Bisek) Misch in Arcadia. She was united in marriage to Bensel Haines on June 3, 1940, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church also in Arcadia. She farmed alongside her husband and children as they raised Registered Brown Swiss cattle. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Joseph Hospital Auxillary, and the PCCW. She enjoyed volunteering at church for fish fry's and helping to bake coffee cakes.
Clotilda is survived by her brother, Herman Misch of Arcadia; her sons, Jerome (Sherry) Haines, Wayne (Pam) Haines, Gary (Paula) Haines all of Arcadia; daughter, Anne (Dale) Sonsalla of Arcadia; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; very special caregivers; and many other relatives, friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bensel in March of 1980; brothers, Bernard Misch and Edmund Misch; and sisters, Angeline Welton and Dorothy Kokott; and daughter-in-law, Janie Haines.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Holy Family Parish with Father Raj officiating. Family and friends are welcome for visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia where there will be a 7 p.m. Prayer Service and a 7:30 p.m. Rosary and also one hour prior to the mass at church on Saturday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
