Christina Dorn

Christina Mary Dorn, 55, of Arcadia passed away in her home on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Christina was born on December 26, 1965, in Columbus, Wisconsin to Melvin and Gladys (Christiansen) Stone.
After receiving her GED, Chris received her Associates Degree in Accounting. She had worked for Jim Hass Associates, and also at the Arcadia Public School District as a cook and bus driver. Chris married Tom Dorn on February 11, 2000, in Arcadia. Christina loved working at school, seeing all of the students, and being with her children and grandchildren.
Chris was an excellent cook, and she had a special gift for baking. Her pies were the hits of family and holiday parties. Chris opened her home to her extended family, always making sure everyone was comfortable. Her smile put everyone at ease. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who instinctively knew what her children and grandchildren needed. They loved her right back and enjoyed playing with her. Even the youngest behaved for Grandma.

Chris is survived by her husband: Tom of Arcadia; son: Steven (Leanna Semling) Olson of Trempealeau; daughters: Adrianne Olson of Independence, Jenna (Joshua Franke) Dorn of Stratford, Jessica Dorn of Winona; three grandsons': Dawson Olson, Alexander Olson, Cayson Olson; brother: Dean (Helen) Chase; sister: Patty (Jay) Gentner; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol Wohlfeil and brother Dennis Schoeffel.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church on Monday. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
