Anthony Pronschinske

Anthony E. "Tony" Pronschinske, 80, of Waumandee died on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the home of his daughter. Tony was born on April 5, 1934, in Waumandee to Sylvan and Anna (Sendelbach) Pronschinske.
Tony farmed in Waumandee all his life. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, served on the church council, on the finance council, ushered, sang in the choir, and was on the St. Boniface School Board. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Waumandee-Montana Fire Department where he served as Assistant Fire Chief, Waumandee Rod and Gun Club, was an avid bowler and hunter and fisherman. He played accordion, banjo and piano. He played in several local bands over the years. He was courier for the Waumandee State Bank. Tony served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He married Clarice Schmidtknecht on August 19, 1959, at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Clarice died on September 28, 2005.
Tony is survived by his children: Patrick (Loretta) Pronschinske of Waumandee, Dennis (Maureen) Pronschinske of Rushford, MN, Kim (Kimberly) Pronschinske of Altura, MN, Todd (special friend, Becky Van Acker) Pronschinske of Waumandee, Cindy (David) Lyga of Independence, Sandra (John) Frie of Fountain City, Brenda (special friend, Karl Hoffmann) Burt of Fountain City, Carla (Mark) Boland of Chaseburg; sister: Carol (George) Narvaes of Grand Junction, CO; brother: Sylvan (Marian) Pronschinske of Greenfield; sisters in-law: Doris Pronschinske of Winona and Esther Pronschinske of Waumandee; 32 grandchildren; dear friend: Marilyn George. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clarice; siblings: Alois, Urban, Richard, Victor Pronschinske, Antoinette Bork, Cleo Wojchik; granddaughter: Eden Pronschinske and son-in-law: Daniel Burt.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014, at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Jazdzewski officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waumandee where there will be a 7:00 PM prayer service and a 7:30 PM rosary. They may also call on Monday from 9:00 AM to the time of services at the church. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
