Allen W. Dorn, age 96, of Arcadia, WI, died Sunday April 20, 2014, at Grand View Care Center in Blair, WI. Allen was born on September 9, 1917, to Albert and Pauline (Hilgert) Dorn in the Township of Glencoe. Allen attended area Schools. On June 2, 1942, Allen married Anthelma Katzbahn at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Arcadia, WI. Together they farmed in rural Arcadia, WI.
Allen is survived by a son; Gary Dorn of Arcadia, WI, a daughter; Karen Harris of Black River Falls, WI, a daughter-in-law; Marie Dorn of Arcadia, WI, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anthelma, 2 sons; Albert Dorn and Duane Dorn, a grandson ; Patrick Dorn, a great granddaughter; Samantha Wozney, 2 brothers; Carlos Dorn and Emil Dorn, a sister; Vera Storsveen, and a son-in-law; Sydney Harris.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday April 25, 2014, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia, WI with Rev. Sebastian Kolodiejczyk officiating.. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in the Township of Glencoe. Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, on Thursday, where there will be a prayer service at 6:00 P.M. Friends may also call from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia, WI.
