Rose H. Pierzina, 92, of Whitehall and formerly of Arcadia died on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Gundersen Tri County Care Center in Whitehall, WI.
Rose was born on August 16, 1921, in rural Arcadia to Frank and Susan (Filla) Klimek. Rose married Rudolph Pierzina on Nov. 5, 1941, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Arcadia, WI. Rudy preceded her in death on January 12, 1996.
Rudy and Rose farmed in American Valley, rural Arcadia until 1980 at which time they moved to the city of Arcadia, WI. Rose was a member of Holy Family Catholic Parish and the PCCW Society.
Rose enjoyed her flowers and vegetable garden. Rose also enjoyed Monday Euchred at the Senior Citizens Center, playing cards with friends and her grandchildren and great -grandchildren.
Rose is survived by two sons: David (Marjorie Ann) Pierzina and Allen (Annette) Pierzina both of Arcadia, WI. Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren: Terri Ann (Daniel) Ammann and daughters: Sara Ann and Megan Rose Ammann of Arcadia, Cindi Sue (Andrew) Aasen and sons: Zachary David and Justin Jon Aasen of Holmen, Brian David (Valerie) Pierzina of Trempealeau, and Shari Lynn (Todd) Werwinski and sons: David James and John Joseph of Onalaska, one brother, Joseph (Dorothy) Klimek of Whitehall, many nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, sisters: Pelchie Berens, Irene Hoffman, brothers, Ernest and Msgr. Edmund Klimek.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish with Rev. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk and Rev. Tim Oudenhoven officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home where there will be a 7:00 PM prayer service and rosary. Friends may also call on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
Serving as casket bearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to Family Wishes.
