Marjorie Mary Ann Pehler, 81, of Arcadia died on Monday, November 3, 2014. Marjorie was born on October 17, 1933, in Arcadia to Vincent and Esther (Schorbahn) Lisowski. On August 12, 1961 Marjorie married Aurelius Pehler at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Arcadia.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandma who loved and supported her family.
Marjorie worked for 42 years at A-G Co-op Creamery in Arcadia as a secretary. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling to the Caribbean with her husband Aurly and her greatest joy was spending time with family and watching her grand children's sporting events. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the PCCW, and St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary. Marjorie was a Miss Arcadia Attendant in the first Arcadia Broiler Days in 1954 and she and Aurelius were the Parade Marshall's for Arcadia Broiler Days in 2010.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 53 years: Aurelius of Arcadia; sons: Bruce (friend, Jennifer Foegen) Pehler of Arcadia; Dale (Melissa) Pehler of Arcadia; daughter: Charlene (Bruce) Schweisthal of Arcadia; 7 grandchildren: Lindsey Schweisthal, Kaitlyn (Adam) Guenther, Samuel Schweisthal, Michael Schweisthal, Zoie Pehler, Josee Pehler, Landen Pehler and 1 great grandchild, Easton Guenther. She was preceded in death by her son: Allen Pehler; her sister: Margaret Pehler; brother-in-law Adrian Pehler; brothers: Edward and Adrian Lisowski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish with Rev. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk and Rev. Gerry Pehler officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home where there will be a 7:30 PM Prayer Service. They may also call on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in Glencoe Lutheran Cemetery in rural Arcadia.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
