James A. Palahniuk, 68, of Arcadia, WI died on Monday, June 3, 2013, in Hayward, WI. James was born October 29, 1944, to James and Olga (Gregory) Palahniuk in Bismarck North Dakota. After graduating from high school James enlisted in the Navy on November 13, 1962, and was honorably discharged on November 10, 1966. In 1994, James married June Fisher in Reno, Nevada.
James is survived by 3 sons; Gene (Deanna) Schleusner of Eau Claire, WI, Grant Schleusner of Menomonie, WI and Jonathan Palahniuk of Hawkinsville, GA, a brother; Thomas (Kathy) Palahniuk of Whitehall, WI; 3 sisters, Darlene (Dennis) Rossa of Arcadia, Debbie (Carl) Maddes of Holmen and Lisa (Kevin) Berg of Viroqua; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, June.
Friends may call from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday June 7, 2013, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia. It was James wish to be cremated.
