Barbara Ann Lisk, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Trempealeau County Health Care Center in Whitehall.
Barb was born on March 13, 1943, in Chicago, IL to Lloyd and Alma (Meske) Lisk. Barb entered the family with a twin brother: Robert Charles, along with siblings Richard Lloyd, June Marie (Lisk) Raimer and Beverly Marie (Lisk) Joseph. She married Gene DeOca on June 3, 1989, at the Courthouse in Joliet, IL. They had 6 sons: Robert, Michael, Thomas, Joseph, Ronald and Richard.
Barb enjoyed crossword puzzles, word find, knitting, and embroidery. She loved to cook, and her specialties were pastries and soup. In 2007, Barb was selected to be the Valentine Queen at Mayo Healthcare Nursing Home in Arcadia. Barb is survived by friends who became family from Arcadia and Whitehall. She will be missed by those who love her.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Trempealeau County Health Care, in Whitehall, at 3:30 PM, with Father Kyle Laylan officiating. Friends may call at the Health Care Center from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Arcadia following the service.
