Ruth J. Malesytcki, 89, of La Crosse and formerly of Arcadia died on Monday, January 27, 2014, in La Crosse, with her daughter Mary by her side. Ruth was born on December 27, 1924, in Trempealeau Co. Wisconsin to Isidore and Elizabeth (Haines) Myers.
Ruth married Ailred Malesytcki on June 20, 1946, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Arcadia. Ruth had worked as a book keeper for A-G Co-op, at the Tally Ho Restaurant, and in housekeeping at St. Joseph's Hospital and Nursing Home in Arcadia. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and then Holy Family Parish in Arcadia. She had moved to La Crosse to live with her daughter Mary.
Ruth is survived by her daughter: Mary Malesytcki of La Crosse; a son: Michael (Bridget) Malesytcki of Madison; two granddaughters: Magdalene and Abigail Malesytcki. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ailred on 12-22-88; two infant sons; and siblings: Wilfred, Hildegard, Irene, Vange, Joyce, Ethel, and Sister Mary Ronald.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at Holy Family Parish with Rev. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in rural Arcadia. Memorials may be directed to "Family Wishes".
