David Eugene Fanello, 58, of Onalaska, passed away on May 20, 2018, in Onalaska.
He was born January 16, 1960, in La Crosse, to Eugene and Joan(Isbell) Fanello. He attended Gale Ettrick Trempealeau high school. Dave married Shelly Olsen and together they welcomed their son, D.J. and daughter, Doniel. They were later divorced but remained friends and confidants until the end. He also married Beth(Sacia)Olsen but were later divorced.
Dave worked various jobs throughout his life but TRW in Ettrick (12 years) and La Crosse Brewery (9+ years) are the jobs that he was most proud of. At both places he was known for his hard work ethic. He made many friends at both places but a few that went above and beyond for him: Shawn, Tina, Brian and Dale. He had a love for dogs and is now reunited with "Birdie", and will one day toss the ball for Shadow again. Dave hobbies included collecting angels and watches. He loved Bob Dylan and attending live concerts.
He is survived by his daughter, Doniel (Daniel); stepsons, Cody(Rachel) Olsen, David Olsen and Brandon Weeth; granddaughter, Hallie; grandson, David; step grandsons, Cash and Dax Olsen; brother, Don (JoAnn); brother-in-law, Dave Rybold; ex-wives, Shelly Weeth and Beth Sacia Douglas. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and numerous cousins.
Dave was proceeded in death by his parents; son, D.J.; sister, Gina Rybold; grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Dave's wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest next to his son, D.J. at the Arcadia Public Cemetery.
The family will be having a private service at a later date.
